The Medistance service uses the OMRON MIT Elite Plus blood pressure apparatus and the Multicare IN blood-glucose level measuring device, which has already been proven to be competent on the domestic market. To those the Medistance mobile data transmission device is attached, with the aid of which the data are available within seconds after the measurement to the relatives or doctors.
The Medistance uses GSM based mobile data transmission, so it can be used at any points of the country where a mobile network is accessible, even in those places where the conventional fixed-line phone or internet access cannot be tackled.
The measured and collected data can be viewed on a web surface. Only those can access that web surface to whom the patient gives authority.
